Legal
Privacy policy
Last updated: 2026
This policy explains what personal data Ascent Studio collects through this website, why, and what your rights are. It is written plainly on purpose.
Who we are
Ascent Studio ("we", "us") operates ascentstudio.org and is run under INKOM Ryszard Rudnicki, ul. Kasztelańska 8/2A, 81-412 Gdynia, Poland, VAT ID PL7391000478, which is the controller of your data. For any privacy question, contact us at hello@ascentstudio.org.
What we collect, and when
We only collect personal data when you choose to send it through our contact form: your name, work email, company, an optional website, and your message. We use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to see aggregate page views — it does not identify you individually and sets no cookies. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and the site sets no cookies of its own.
Why we use it, and our legal basis
We use the details you submit for one purpose: to reply to your inquiry and arrange an intro call. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering a contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
Who processes it
We use a small number of service providers:
- Netlify — hosts the website and receives contact-form submissions.
- Zoho Mail — our business email, where we read and reply to your message.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics — cookieless, aggregate page-view analytics; does not track individual visitors.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiry data for as long as needed to follow up, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact, unless we go on to work together.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your data, or to stop using it. Email hello@ascentstudio.org and we will handle it. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority — in Poland, the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO).
